GIVE CHILDREN A WAY OUT
We're taking on an extreme 24-hour challenge to help break the chains of child trafficking. Together, we can give children a way out.
every $500 helps save one child
Children around the world are being exploited and trafficked every day.
Rescue is possible — but only when organizations on the ground have the resources to act.
The Marici Foundation works directly to rescue children from sex trafficking and help them begin a path toward safety and restoration.
This challenge exists to help fund that work.
You are the hero of this story.
Your donation goes directly to Marici to support real rescue efforts.
Every gift — large or small — helps create a moment where a child is no longer trapped and can begin again.
All donations are processed securely on Marici.org. We do not collect or handle funds.
who is marici?
Marici is a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing children from sex trafficking and helping them move toward safety and healing.

the 100 challenge
To draw attention to this mission and invite others to act, each of us are committing to an extreme physical challenge on February 6, 2027 in Huntsville, Texas:
lift 100K pounds
run 100 miles
all in 24 hours
rAise $100K each
100K pounds, 100 miles, $100k raised. The same 100 number, three times over - hence our name:
The 100 Challenge
the guides
This challenge is led by Jarred and Matt, two Crested Butte, Colorado dads using their time, effort, and personal commitment to support Marici’s mission to help rescue trafficked children.
Our role is to serve the mission by taking on the challenge and pointing attention where it belongs: to the children and the rescue work.
We're not professional athletes. We chose a challenge hard enough to make people stop, pay attention, and ask why. The answer is simple: children are being trafficked, and Marici needs the resources to reach them. What we go through in 24 hours is voluntary and temporary — we'd never compare it to what these children endure. We're just using what we have: our bodies, our voices, and this community, to help fund the people doing that work every day.

You don’t need to lift the weight.
You don’t need to run the miles.
You simply need to decide to act.
$500 helps rescue one child.
If that amount isn’t possible, any donation helps move this mission forward.
